Terms of Service
Brain is a private, single-operator system. It is not a public service, it is not offered to anyone, and no one may use it without the operator’s express permission. If you are not the operator and the operator has not expressly invited you, you are not authorized to access it, and you must leave.
These Terms and the Privacy Policy cover brain.larson.family, its subdomains (including inbox.brain.larson.family), and any related service the operator runs as part of it, on any domain. “The operator” means Larson Labs LLC, a Delaware limited liability company, which owns and runs Brain. “Brain” or “the Service” means all of those services, their software, and the data they hold. “You” means anyone other than the operator who reaches any part of it. Effective date: October 14, 2026.
1. Private system; no authorization unless expressly granted
- Brain is a private computer system. Access by anyone other than the operator is unauthorized unless the operator has expressly granted it to that person.
- An express grant is an invitation, link or credential the operator expressly issues to you. Nothing else is a grant.
- A grant covers only what it names. A grant does not let you invite, share with or pass access to anyone else.
- Finding a URL, guessing a password, reusing someone else’s link or session, signing in with an account the operator did not invite, or reaching Brain through any route the operator did not give you is not a grant. It is unauthorized access, and the operator may treat it as such under the U.S. Computer Fraud and Abuse Act and any similar state or foreign law.
- Signing in, or the Service letting a request through, does not by itself mean you are authorized. A technical failure to stop you is not permission.
2. The operator’s full control of the Service and its data
By using any part of Brain, you acknowledge and agree that:
- The operator has full and sole control of the Service: its code, configuration, infrastructure, accounts, and every record it holds, including anything you add to it.
- The operator may read, search, copy, export, edit, move, archive, delete or keep any data in the Service, including your messages, comments, uploads and activity, at any time and for any reason, without notice to you.
- The operator may grant, change, limit, suspend or revoke your access at any time, for any reason or none, without notice and without liability.
- The operator may change, pause or shut down any part of the Service, or the whole of it, at any time.
- What you do in Brain may be recorded and attributed to you, and the operator may review those records at any time.
- You have no ownership interest in the Service and no right to its continued availability, to any particular feature, or to a copy of any data.
3. Your content
- You keep whatever rights you already hold in content you add. You grant the operator a perpetual, irrevocable, worldwide, royalty-free licence to store, copy, process, modify, display and otherwise use it for any purpose connected with the Service or the operator’s own affairs.
- Do not add anything you do not have the right to share, anything you need kept from the operator, or anything you are not willing to have retained indefinitely.
- Content you add may be processed by automated tools, including AI models run through third-party providers, as described in the Privacy Policy.
4. Acceptable use
If you have been granted access, you must not:
- go beyond what your grant covers, or try to;
- probe, scan, test or bypass any authentication, permission, rate limit or other control;
- share your credentials, keys or links with anyone;
- copy, scrape, export or disclose data you see except as the operator directs;
- upload malware, or anything unlawful, infringing or harmful;
- use the Service to send unsolicited messages or to harm anyone;
- interfere with the Service, its hosts, or the accounts and machines connected to it.
5. Automated access
Credentials for automated access are issued by the operator and carry only the permissions the operator gives them. Whoever holds a credential is responsible for everything done with it. The operator may revoke any credential at any time.
6. No warranty
The Service is provided as is and as available, with no warranty of any kind, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy, availability, security or non-infringement. It is private software that changes without notice, and data in it may be lost.
7. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent the law allows, the operator is not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, or for any loss of data, profits or goodwill, arising from your use of or inability to use the Service. The operator’s total liability for any claim is limited to zero dollars (US$0), or the lowest amount the law allows if it does not allow zero.
8. Indemnity
You will defend, indemnify and hold harmless the operator from any claim, loss or expense, including reasonable legal fees, arising from your use of the Service, your content, or your breach of these Terms.
9. Ending access
The operator may end your access at any time. Sections 1 through 3 and 6 through 10 survive the end of your access.
10. General
- These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Delaware, United States, without regard to conflict-of-laws rules. Any claim you bring about the Service must be brought only in the state or federal courts located in New Castle County, Delaware, and you consent to their jurisdiction. The operator may bring a claim in those courts or in any other court with jurisdiction over you.
- The operator may change these Terms at any time by posting a new version. Continuing to use the Service after a change means you accept it.
- If any part of these Terms is unenforceable, the rest still applies. The operator not enforcing a term is not a waiver of it.
- These Terms and the Privacy Policy are the whole agreement between you and the operator about the Service.
